They stand head and shoulders above their competition, and I think it's because of their superior customer service. Their 100% satisfaction guarantee creates a very high level of customer loyalty. Over the years they have developed a very strong brand recognition that has helped them to truly become the World’s Foremost Outfitter, as their slogan claims. Company sales are spread out over a broad spectrum including Secure Internet Shopping. I have become an affiliate of Cabela's mainly because of their customer support. I also appreciate their In-Store Pickup feature. To me, the benefits of this is that it allows you to see ALL related items, rather than just what they happen to have in stock at a particular store. They may be out of a particular model of something at the store nearest you, but if you order it online, and ask for In-Store Pickup, they will get it in for you and inform you of its arrival. This also can save on shipping charges, but I usually wind up spending more money at the store than I saved by selecting In-Store Pickup. Another reason I have chosen them is the vast selection of High Quality items available, from hunting and fishing to commercial-grade food-processing tools and Home & Cabin. They offer customer incentives, always seem to have a savings promotion of some kind going on and of course the popular Bargain Cave where you will always find great money-saving deals. Cabela’s carries the widest selection of "Top-Name" brands and are usually the first place I look when I want to see a new product. To be honest, the affiliate commissions they pay are quite small, compared to most online retailers, but the fact they stand behind their sales so well, is why my affiliate loyalty lies with them. Bottom line, is I want you to be pleased with all of your online purchases. Let's say for example that you are trying to decide between two different brands of a particular item, and you really can't decide. Suppose Cabela's only carries one of the brands. All else being equal, I would suggest the going with Cabela's because if it isn't what you had in mind, you can return the item, no questions asked. However, I have rarely had occasion to return something.
