These Bad Boys still need to EAT!

Does seeing the icecap make you think fishing season is over? Not so fast! These ice fishing species may still be in the feeding mode. Ice fishing today hardly resembles the days of old.
This sport has come a long way in recent years. You can be warm and comfortable, confidently fish, knowing that there are fish beneath you, easily move if the spot cools off, and generally catch a lot more fish.
If you haven't gone ice fishing in a while, or if you don't ice fish at all, Man OH Man, you're missing out! It's time to reconsider! There are fish, beneath that ice, hungry fish. Why not join the ever growing party of ice fishing enthusiasts?
Numerous fish species are commonly caught through the ice, but several preferred species are more specifically targeted, by ice anglers. The targeted species obviously vary depending upon what region you're from, but the following species are widely targeted, from most ice fishing regions.
For each of these species, you'll find both a "General Information" page, as well as a "Tips & Techniques" page specific to that species. Click on your favorite, or read em all.
Thanks for reading. Enjoy the illustrations and Good Luck ice fishing!
